Award-winning Kate's all-new pottery studio now open!
Looking for pottery classes? Then you've come to the right place! Now fully operational in her new pottery studio, Kate runs classes where you can learn how to throw a pot, sculpt in clay, use moulds or build by hand.
In a fun, friendly and spacious environment, you can learn at your own pace over a cup of tea or coffee. Prepare to relax,
de-stress and learn an age-old skill. With Kate’s guidance you will be able to create something unique that you can be really proud of. A potter for over 30 years, Kate will awaken your inner potter in her fantastic fully equipped studio, including several potter’s wheels.
Adult classes are available on Tuesday mornings as well as Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, afternoons and evenings, and Saturday morning – making it possible to fit in a class even in the most hectic schedule.

How about a Hen Night with a difference? Then, later on, celebrate your ninth Wedding Anniversary as it is traditionally the Pottery Anniversary.
Call Kate to discuss the many options.
So what's the new pottery like?
It's an exciting workplace – and one that's going to offer more space, more facilities, more light, more everything, including a bespoke area for wheelchair users. Designed with both comfort and practicality in mind, the studio will soon have a brand-new kiln room to fire all your projects (and try out new firing schedules!). Visitors will also appreciate the addition of modern toilet facilities and the new dedicated parking area, making the studio more accessible than ever.
One of the most innovative features is the up-and-down work station, allowing potters to adjust their workspace to suit them, whether they prefer standing or sitting while shaping clay.
Classes are proving to be as popular as ever, and with the new studio comes new 8-week courses, offering even more scope for your amazing ceramic creations. More details on the new class structures here.
And now, after an amazing official opening ceremony, Kate’s brand new studio is about to become a hub of artistry, community and inspiration for pottery enthusiasts of all levels, with Kate looking forward to welcoming regulars and newcomers alike!

“I love passing on my enthusiasm for pottery as a craft to anyone who wants to learn a new skill or maybe brush up on an old one. Over the years, I have been joined by a loyal group of pottery enthusiasts who, I am proud to say, create some pretty amazing pieces.
I aim to make everyone’s visit fun and informative – and at the end of your time with me
you will have made something really personal to you.”
