THE HARPENDEN POP-UP

Next pop-up gallery: November 2020

Terrific news – we're back at the pop-up shop in November!  So make sure you come along to meet Kate and browse in the shop – it's the perfect opportunity to gift a Pottery Experience to that special person, pick up some fabulous, unique pieces – or, if you've always wanted to release your inner potter, organise some lessons with Kate!  As usual, there'll also be a wide range of other local artists' gifts on offer, so it's definitely an event not to be missed!

TRY THE NEW FAMILY POTTERY EXPERIENCE!

So, are you wondering what you can do with the children – or the slightly older members of the family, for that matter - during the long summer holiday, regardless of the weather? Well look no further! Kate is offering the opportunity to have safe and, crucially, exclusive use of her pottery for family groups – a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people. You can look forward to a two-hour creative experience with her expert guidance – using the wheel or moulds or crafting your own sculpture.

Your work will be fired and glazed in a variety of colours to your choice, ready to collect a short while afterwards, all for the cost of £30 per head.

You are requested to arrive with your own apron, towel and mask (although single-use masks will be available at a cost
of £1 each). Please bring your own mug if you would like to have a coffee/tea whilst working.

Book now to guarantee your slot – a deposit of £10 per attendee will be required.

These family sessions will be available from 23rd July to 5th September.

Call Kate on 07944 655024 for full details and to arrange your time and date.

HARPENDEN FARMER'S MARKET

Kate has a regular stall on the busy Harpenden Farmer's Market, where you'll find her selling a wide range of her fabulous ceramics. She's also happy to chat with you about classes, pottery experiences or just pass the time of day!

RAKU DAYS

So far we've held several Raku days at the Pottery, which have been fantastic learning curves for us as we delve deeper into this traditional form of Japanese pottery firing. Check back regularly if you're interested in attending a future Raku Day.

Until then, here's hoping the images below, taken at our last Raku firing, give you a flavour of things!
