POST-LOCKDOWN POP-UP GALLERY IS A HIT!
'Pop-up at the Pottery' makes a successful debut!
When the Government confirmed a national lockdown between 5 November - 2 December last year, it meant that the much-anticipated 'Kate Radford & Friends' Christmas pop-up gallery in Harpenden had to be cancelled.
Kate was obviously very sad to make that announcement, and it meant that her new pop-up gallery would have to take place at the pottery as soon as the lockdown ended. Some fabulously unique Christmas gifts were on offer at the new Kensworth venue, and it is hoped that 'Kate Radford & Friends' will return to the Pottery Pop-up gallery in 2021, so check back regularly for updates!
HARPENDEN FARMER'S MARKET
Kate has a regular stall on the busy Harpenden Farmer's Market, where you'll find her selling a wide range of her fabulous ceramics. She's also happy to chat with you about classes, pottery experiences or just pass the time of day!
So far we've held several Raku days at the Pottery, which have been fantastic learning curves for us as we delve deeper into this traditional form of Japanese pottery firing. Check back regularly if you're interested in attending a future Raku Day.
Until then, here's hoping the images below, taken at our last Raku firing, give you a flavour of things!
